to Enlace Distrofia Muscular Duchenne - Becker homepage.
This website is intended to show how the association help
the kids and young people who live in Chihuahua and other
states from north México to face Duchenne Muscular
Distrophy (DMD).
Unfortunately
at this moment the association has not the capacity to translate
all the reports and documents that are made public, and
those who have the intention to inform the society how we
work and how we use the funds we receive. Although, if you
are interested, those documents can be found in spanish
here.

- February
2009. We have just a few more tickets
for the movie theater Cinépolis Plaza del Sol.
Price per ticket is $35 pesos (3 U.S. Dollars) and are
available at Kachibaches, Plaza del Sol mall. Tickets
can be used for any movie and are subject to show availability.
- January
2009. Movistar Foundation gave this
association a donative of medicines with a value of
$20 thousand pesos ($1,600 US Dollars aprox.). Those
are prescripted by the cardiologist to prevent miocardiopathy
and heart failure.
- January
2009. The association applied for funds
to the federal Secretaría de Desarrollo Social
(Social Development Federal Office) in order to buy
medicines that are used in the treatment of DMD. The
intention is to obtanin $249 thousand pesos (around
17 thousand US Dollars), and if this project is accepted,
the organization has to make a co-investment, of $53
thousand pesos ($3,655 US Dollars) due to Federal policies.
